June Dev Log ( Gamebridge & Develop )


The work clothing the Mentor is in full swing! 

Billy is currently wading through documents to learn how to simulate the clothing for our Mentor (with plans for motion capture in July). Billy is making sure it will work with our larger pipe line!

We are recording more lines!

its all booked in for Monday 16th! This should be the experience fully voiced after this recording session.

General Dev updates!

We have made a few nice updates to some of the basic systems - 
  • Now when you drop an important item (crucible or tongs ) there is a timer which counts down and if the player has not tired to pickup/interact with the dropped item, It will return back to its starting place. 
  • We have changed the haptic feedback using tongs so now you get feedback when holding something with the tongs.
  • Having upgraded to UE5.5 we have been playing around with some of the new lighting options thanks to megalights! 


The Sainsbury centre is creating a resin cast of the current head of the Oba, which we will have for all events moving forward, so players after get to see what has become to the head now.
